Off the court, the 32-year-old has dived his interest majorly in fashion.

Russell has been one to have fun with his pre-game fashion, he’s been dubbed the king of NBA style and let’s just say his fashion sense is fearless.
Some of his most memorable looks were put together in a Rizzoli coffee table book titled: Russell Westbrook: Style Drivers.

He talks about his style saying

For me, it’s not about really great outfits. It’s just who I am. I always want to make sure that people understand that. I’m not getting dressed to make a scene or like ‘Oh, look what Westbrook has on today!’ If I like something, I’ll put it on, I go to the game, that’s how it is.

In an appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show,” he famously wore a vintage Gucci T-shirt and a pair of tapered Pepto-pink sweatpants, swallowed at the cuffs by a pair of thick tube socks. Around his waist was tied a matching top.

As normal with Russell it was hard to say whether this an honest expression of himself, or a bit of mockery to those fashionistas.

Lil Dicky Russell Westbrook on a farm lyrics

Russell Westbrook on a farm, is actually a song by rapper Lil Dicky that came out in 2015.

Lil Dicky said at the time he though the lyrics contained a good message. Speaking about it he said

“The purpose of the song is that I didn’t know at all that I had this amazing rap talent in me,” he said. “And I thought, it was kind of like I was growing up in this one path where I was doing what was expected of me, without really having any idea. So like the conflict is like ‘What if a great NBA player had no idea that he was good at basketball and grew up in a different setting?’ I really felt like it was a metaphor I was feeling as a rapper.”

Apparently, he was expected to take a normal job instead of becoming a rapper. In the song, he considers if Russell Westbrook grew up on a farm and could never realize his true potential.
Sports definitely play a big part in Lil Dicky’s raps and his videos are often seen as comical.
