Bess Katramados is the lovely and supportive wife of former WWE star, Paul Donald Wight Jr.; best known for his wrestling name, Big Show.

At 48, you’d think Bess’s hubby will be retiring and though he came close a few years ago, her big man, remains as one of the true giants in the world of professional wrestling.
Big Show has been a part of WWE since early 1999 and until earlier this year, he was still knocking heads more than two decades after his in-ring debut.

Most recently, the pro wrestler seems to be settling more into life out of the ring and focusing more on his life at home next to his lovely wife, Bess Katramados.

Paul Donald Wight II

Born Paul Donald Wight II, on February 8, 1972; the Aiken, South Carolina native was no ordinary kid. By the age of twelve, he was already more than 6 ft tall, weighed 220 lbs, and had chest hair.

Paul grew up to be a huge fella, standing at 7 feet tall, weighing at 383 pounds, wearing a 22 EEEEE size shoe and boasting a 64-inch chest. He would found his calling as a professional wrestler and entertainer.

During his in-ring debut in 1995, Big Show left a massive impression in WCW after he defeated Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Championship. He developed a finishing move called the Chokeslam.

Big Show went on to sign a ten year contract with the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment in February of 1999.
He competed for WCW from 1995 to 1999 and then in the WWF/WWE from 1999 to 2007.

He is the only Superstar to win the WWE Championship, the WCW Championship, the World Heavyweight Championship, and the ECW World Championship.

Other titles under his belt include; the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, WCW World Tag Team Championship, WWE United States Championship, WWE Intercontinental Championship, WWE Tag Team Championship, World Tag Team Championship, and the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy among others.

Big Show not only made a name for himself as part of the World Wrestling Entertainment, but he also appeared in several Hollywood productions.

As an actor, Big Show had numerous roles and appeared in films such as Reggie’s Prayer (1996), Jingle All The Way (1996), The Waterboy (1998), Little Hercules (2006), Knucklehead (2010), and Vendetta (2015).

There’s no doubt that The Big Show has provided with fascinating WWE moments in the course of his career and that he’s been the reason behind multiple ring collapses. That said, back in 2017, Big Show himself stated in an interview that he would retire once his then-contract runs down in February 2018. He told Sports Illustrated

“No last matches, no fanfare, just ride off into the sunset and disappear,” “That’s more my style. I’ll find something else to do that is inspiring—and let these new kids take the business and the reigns and let them build the future.”

As we all know now, Big Show is still pretty much an active competitor.

Big Show Wife, Bess Katramados

When it comes to his personal life, Paul Wight has found love a couple of times. He’s been married twice and is currently living with his second wife, Bess Katramados.

He married Bess Katramados in February 2002. Since their nuptials, they have welcomed two children together.

Bess Katramados was born on July 13, 1973; the Illinois native was thrown under the spotlight following her union to the Big Show.

Not many personal details are available about Bess Katramados, there’s no confirmed information about her parents of her education. It is known however, that the blonde worked as a model prior to her wedding to Paul Wight. She is now a full time housewife.

Despite having two children, Bess’ model-like physique is undeniable. She and her hubby are considered the most romantic couple in the WWE world.

Melissa Ann Piavis was once Mrs. Big Show. She was Paul’s first wife.

Big Show married his first wife, Melissa Ann Piavis, on February 14, 1997.

Is not clear why their marriage didn’t last and after a few years they separated in 2000. Their divorce was finalized on February 6, 2002.
From their marriage, Piavis and Big Show welcomed one child together, a daughter whom they named Cierra.

The wrestler began starring on the Netflix series The Big Show Show earlier this year.

Former WWE wrestler the Big Show is out of the ring and ready for an even tougher challenge: raising three daughters with his wife in Florida.

In the sitcom which premiered on April 6, 2020; the Big Show appears as a fictional version of himself. In fact, not Bess or any of his real kids appear on the show. Bess Katramados is actually portrayed by actress Allison Munn who plays the role of Cassy Wight.

Cierra Wight

Cierra Wight was born November 28, 1998; she is the Big Show’s first born, her mother is Paul’s first wife, Melissa Ann Piavis. That would make Cierra, Bess Katramados’s step-daughter.

The 22-year-old who is presumably a college student, is known for being the daughter of the former professional wrestler.

It is believed that Cierra resides in Florida and is taking courses at the University of West Florida.
